- רְכַךְch. sam(רכךְto be soft, tender). Pa. רכֵּיךְ 1) to make soft. Targ. Y. II Gen. 44:19 מְרַכֵּיךְ במילוי to speak softly. 2) (with, or sub. לבא) to make faint, frighten. Targ. Y.
